CAC Unveils New Service Timeline, Charges Operatives to Rededicate Themselves to Duty

CAC New Service Timeline:

CAC New Service Timeline: As the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) unveils new service timelines since the advent of Covid-19 Pandemic, the Registrar General/CEO, Alhaji Garba Abubakar has charged CAC Staff to rededicate themselves to duty to ensure growth of the economy.

The Registrar General who gave the charge during an interactive session with Staff preparatory to the kick off of the new timelines of 4hrs for name search and 24hrs for registration said the Commission had no option than to recall all staff in order to attend to deluge of applications. To achieve the target, the RG said more staff of various disciplines were being on boarded and trained to approve pending/new applications adding that the new scheme had since taken off both in the head office and some state offices.

Alhaji Garaba Abubakar therefore enjoined existing and prospective approving officers to be diligent in the discharge of their responsibilities and cautioned against dishing out indiscriminate queries which he said could slow the process of registration and paint the Commission in bad light. The RG noted with delight what he called the supreme sacrifices made by some hardworking staff of the Commission who approve even applications at midnight and urged them to sustain the tempo. While speaking on staff welfare, the RG recalled that in spite of the challenges of Covid-19 the Commission had trained over 300 Staff and pledged that more staff will benefit this year particularly those that were left out in 2020.

Speaking on Promotion Exams, Alhaji Garba Abubakar recalled that last year 2 Exams were conducted and therefore gave an assurance that before the end of next quarter eligible candidates would write exams for the vacancies declared by the exams Committee
