This Weekend in the EPL

This week on The EPL

Wolves couldn’t stop a formidable Brighton who threw all at them to secure a lone goal victory at the Falmer stadium. Glenn Murray’s  48th min goal was all the difference between  the two sides.

It was an exciting but a goalless draw at the at the st Mary’s stadium as Newcastle were lucky enough to escape with a draw. The result keeps Newcastle seating one step above the bottom team and Southampton just barely away from the ireligation zone.

Liverpool showed why they are part of the big four in England as they whipped Cardif city at Anfield.  The game ended Four goals to one. Mo Salah opened the scoring in the 10th min of the game, Sadio Mane made it Tow and three on the 66th and and 87th min respectively.  Xherdan Shaqiri also got one for himself on th 84th min. Cardif did score one goal on the 77th min when Callum Peterson  beat Alison. in all, Liverpool are keeping the title chase tight.

Even though they had gone two goals down, a 72nd min red card  to Kevin McDonald opened Fulham up to concede a third goal.  Craven Cottage didn’t feel like home for Fulham as they went down by one man and by three goals to Bournemouth.

watford were not in the mood to entertain visitors, but I guess Huddersfield didn’t get the memo, so they came, they were trashed and am sure they wont forget it in a hurry. three nill was how it ended at Vicarage  road and Huddersfield were at the receiving end of the three goals.

Even with a man, Leicester almost got beaten by west Ham who lead them for more than half the game after the scored on the 30th min. it was the Nigerian defensive midfield Wilfred Ndidi who brought them to parity at the 89th min.

Chelsea is staking a claim to the title as they beat Burnley four goals silly in front of their home fans.
